Archimede Seguso Large Murano Turquoise Blue Glass Geode Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent large and heavy (1.7kg unpacked) 1950/60's Venetian glass geode bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Unmarked, but attributed to Archimede Seguso, based on the similarity and style compared to other labelled examples. In a stunning combination of turquoise blue glass encased in clear glass.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has one small nibble to the rim, shown in final picture, and a few small surface scratches.
