Vetreria 3 Fiori Murano Bubble Gold Leaf Glass Egg Paperweight

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass egg shaped paperweight, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by the Vetreria 3 Fiori factory. Has a generic Murano label on the base, but these can also be found with labels that read "Vetreria 3 Fiori, Murano, Ve". In a stunning combination of clear glass, filled with gold leaf inclusions, and a controlled bubble effect known as 'a bolle'.

Size

Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 2.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a faint bruise mark to one side, shown in final picture.
