Description

Here is an large 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Consists of black glass (actually a very dark purple) decorated with silver leaf, and multicoloured murrine canes. Surrounded with an outer casing of clear glass, with a scalloped rim.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 8 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
