Murano Pink & Clear Glass Horse Sculpture - SIGNED P Signoretto

Description

A deep purple-ish pink & clear glass horse sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Signed to base "P Signoretto". Presumably this is for Pino Signoretto, a Murano artist famous for his horse sculptures. I've never had a Signoretto piece before and so know very little about them, but looking at other examples online, they mostly seem larger and more extravagant than this piece, so I can't rule out the possibility that the signature could have been added later by someone. Hopefully collectors will know more about this than I do! Still a lovely piece either way and definitely genuine Murano.

Size

Measures approx 5.5 inches tall by 5.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

On very close inspection there is signs of a ground & polished out chip to one of the points on the horses mane, and a couple of small surface scratches to one side, all shown in final pictures.
