Vetreria Artistica Colonna Murano Pink & Amber Glass Lobed Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl with large pulled lobes, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of pink and amber glass, encased in clear glass. Made by the Vetreria Artistica Colonna factory, this design was shared in a Murano Facebook group with the factory label. Very similar items can be found in the JICO import catalogues. Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 9.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has some wear / nicks to the base rim, and a manufacturing flaw to the top surface - a tiny blob of discoloured glass, all shown in final pictures. Also a couple of minor surface scratches.
