Description

This is a magnificent Venetian glass bowl or plate, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made in smoky grey frosted glass, with a wide band of large, colourful millefiori murrine canes. Several of these canes are shown in an Effetre catalogue. Effetre is a Murano company that produces murrine canes which are then bought and used by other Murano factories in their art glass production.

Size

Measures approx 1 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
