Stockholms Glasbruk Blue Glass Creamer, Gustaf VI Adolf Stopper

Description

A beautiful blue glass creamer jug.  Made by Stockholms Glasbruk of Sweden, and comes with a metal and cork stopper. The stopper has writing which reads "Gustaf VI Adolf, Sveriges Konung" (King of Sweden). This style of stopper was made by Skansen Glasbruk, and then sold to other glassworks, as such this stopper can be found on various bottles by various factories. The fitting of the stopper is a little loose, but would not have a tight seal anyway due to the spout. I have no idea if the stopper originally came with the creamer or has been added later.

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 2.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
