Description

A superb 1930's/40's Czech red blown glass vase with black & white base, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass. This design was for a long time attributed to Kralik, but research by others has recently revealed that it was apparently made by the Ernst Steinwald glassworks, up until 1938 when production was moved to the Franz Tomschick glassworks. Measures approx 7 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a generally rough finish to the rim, normal for these items, and shown in final picture.
