Rückl Czech Vintage 'Orange Shimmy Pfau' Spatter Glass Flame Vase

Description

A superb 1930's/40's Bohemian / Czech red, yellow and black blown glass vase in a flame or fire pattern, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass. Attributed to Rückl, according to several online sources, and the book "Collectible Bohemian Glass, Vol II, 1915 - 1945" by Robert & Deborah Truitt. Page 75 shows a Rückl catalogue page from around 1931, which identifies this decor as Orange Shimmy Pfau (Decor 329).

Measures approx 8 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
