Welz Bohemian Lemon Yellow & White Spatter Glass Vase

Description

An 1890's Bohemian variegated lemon yellow + white blown glass vase, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass, with hand painted enamelled decoration. Most likely made by the Franz Welz factory. Reference: [click here] and [here].

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nibble to the rim, which must have occurred during manufacture as is covered with gold gilt. Shown in final picture. Also some wear to the gold gilt decoration as can be seen in pictures.
