Chřibská #346/5/18 Czech Pink & White Glass Spider Web Bowl

Description

Here is a magnificent, large Czech glass ashtray bowl. Made by the Chřibská glassworks, pattern number 346/5/18. Shown in a 1999 Chřibská catalogue, see last image (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz). Most likely designed by Josef Hospodka. In a stunning combination of pink glass encased in clear glass, with an opalescent opaque white rim, and spider web like pattern made from frothy bubbles.

Size

Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 7.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of minor surface scratches.
