Chřibská #290/4/18 Czech Pink & Blue Glass Vase

Description

A wonderful large and heavy (1.9 kilos unpacked) Czech organic chunky glass vase. In a stunning combination of pink and blue glass encased in clear glass. Made by the Chřibská glassworks, pattern number 290/4/18. Shown in a 1999 Chřibská catalogue, see last image (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz). Most likely designed by Josef Hospodka.

Size

Measures approx 7 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, but does have some dull (not shiny) rub marks to the base side edges, where tiny chips may have been ground out, although there does not appear to be any glass missing. Shown in final pictures.
