Welz Bohemian Dark Red, Blue & Yellow Spatter Glass Vase

Description

An 1890's Bohemian multicoloured blown glass vase, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass, with applied clear glass decoration. Made by the Franz Welz factory.

Size

Measures approx 6.25 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a small stable crack where the top of one of the applied clear glass "handles" meets the main body of the vase, and a couple of nibbles to the applied decoration near the base, all shown in final pictures.
