Welz Czech Pink & Brown Spatter Glass Crimped Vase

Description

A circa 1890's - 1920's Czech / Bohemian brown, pink & white blown glass vase, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass, with crimped rim. Made by the Franz Welz factory.

Size

Measures approx 5.75 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just the remains of a "broken" pontil mark to the base, which is only partially ground out, shown in final pictures. Left over from the manufacturing process and perfectly normal.
