Welz Bohemian Honeycomb Spatter Glass Tri-lobed Heart Vase

Description

A circa 1890's - 1920's Czech / Bohemian multicoloured blown glass vase, made using a technique known as "spatter" or "splatter" glass, with applied clear glass decoration. Made by the Franz Welz factory, part of their Harlequin Honeycomb pattern range, this is a known Welz shape, described by collectors as "Tri-lobed Heart".

Size

Measures approx 7 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, just a couple of nibbles to the base "feet", shown in final picture. Probably due to some of them being ground flat at the end of manufacturing in order for them to sit stable and level.
