Description

A wonderful art deco clear glass vase. Made by Czech company Libochovice in the 1930's, pattern number 1896. This pattern is shown in the catalogues on the CD that accompanies the book Sklo Union - Art Before Industry by Marcus Newhall. Marked to base "Reg No 814529, Tcheco-slovaquie". This is a British registered design number, most likely registered by the importer Jules Lang & Son in 1936.

Size

Measures approx 10 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
