SIGNED & LABELLED Mdina Blue & White Striped Maltese Glass Vase

Description

A wonderful small blue Maltese glass vase with vertical white stripes, by Mdina, signed to the base and labelled. I'm not sure of the pattern name for this pattern, or if it even has one, in fact this is the only example I've seen so far!

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flower heads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
