SIGNED Gozo Maltese Blue & Gold Leaf Glass Miniature Vase

Description

A wonderful Maltese small blue, white & clear glass vase with gold leaf inclusions, in the 'Gold Blue' pattern, made by Gozo Glass on the island of Gozo, sister island to Malta. Signed to base, and still bears the factory label.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 1.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, just a scuff mark near the base rim, shown in final picture.
