Strathearn Carpet Millefiori Closepack Faceted Orange Glass Paperweight

Description

A Scottish glass paperweight with multicoloured "carpet closepack" millefiori canes, on a red ground base, with five side facets and one top facet. Made by the Strathearn factory, in production from 1968 - 1980, pattern number PSF152. At 2.5 inches diameter, this is the medium size that these paperweights were made in. Reference: [click here].

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite to the base rim, shown in final picture.
