Cascade / Wood Bros or Nuutajarvi Amber Glass 'Kastehelmi' Pot

Description

A stunning amber glass pot or candle holder. Probably produced by Wood Brothers Glass Co and marketed under the range name Cascade, items from this range can often be found with labels that read "Cascade, England". The original design pattern was created by Oiva Toikka in 1964 for Nuutajarvi Notsjo of Finland, pattern name 'Kastehelmi' (dew drop). Production of the Kastehelmi pattern was later continued at Iittala. It is assumed Wood Bros therefore made these items under licence from Nuutajarvi / Iittala. Reference: [click here].

Measure approx 2 inches tall by 2 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a nick to the rim, shown in final picture.
