Stuart Strathearn Black & Gold Leaf Vintage Glass Vase & Leaflet

Description

A small black glass vase with gold leaf inclusions. Made by the Scottish Strathearn factory, at some point after it was bought by Stuart Glass and renamed Stuart Strathearn Ltd in 1980, and before the factory closed in 1992. This range was called "Ebony and Gold". No factory mark to base, but does come with the original gift tag / leaflet.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flower heads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
