Pair of Victorian Hand Painted/Enamelled Uranium Glass Vases

Description

This is a beautiful pair of Victorian 1900's opaque glass vases, with hand painted enamelled decoration. Made in uranium opaque pale green glass, which glows green in UV light.

Please note: Although these vases are obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, they are still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Measure approx 3.25 inches tall by 2.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks other than a couple of nicks to rims of both vases, all shown in final pictures.
