John Walsh Vaseline / Uranium Opalescent Glass 'Spiralling Dots' Vase

Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's British glass vase with a three way crimped rim, decorated with spiralling lines and dots. Attributed to John Walsh Walsh from Birmingham, England, based on other online auction house listings, which I have been unable to verify. A vase from this range is shown in the book Victorian Decorative Glass by Mervyn Gulliver, page 145, but it is unattributed. Made in vaseline/uranium glass, which glows bright green in UV light.

Measures approx 5.75 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
