Description

A wonderful large and heavy (1.8kg unpacked) art deco frosted blue glass 'Flötenspieler & Seerosen' (flute player) figurine, also known as 'Peter Pan' by collectors. Made by German company Auguste Walther & Söhne in the 1930's, and is featured in their 1934 product catalogue. Comes with the matching flower frog holder.

Size

Assembled set (figurine and flower frog) measures approx 10 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has some nibbling to the base edge underneath a rabbits head, and what looks to be an area of restoration (ground out chip) again to the base edge near a rabbit, all shown in final pictures. Also mentioned for accuracy but difficult to capture on camera - some areas of the frosted finish are a little less frosted than others. which seems to be common for these items, see photos and video.
