A wonderful Art Deco frosted blue glass vase with hand painted enamelled floral decoration.  Made by British company Bagley & Co in the 1930's, part of their 'Grantham' pattern range (catalogue number 334).

Please note:  Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase.  Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

No chips or cracks, just some wear to the enamelled decoration, see pictures, and a couple of manufacturing "straw marks" common in pressed glass, and shown in final pictures. To the untrained eye these can look like cracks, but they are caused by folds in the hot glass when it was originally pressed into the mold. They can be felt with a finger nail, but are only on the surface of the glass and do not pass through the full thickness of the glass as cracks do.
