Description

A Monart pink & black mottled glass bowl with speckles of copper aventurine. Made by the Scottish Moncrieff's factory in the 1930's/40's, pattern number UB.VII. Breaking the pattern number down, UB is the shape number, and VII is the size (8.5 inch diameter). Unmarked but has the classic Monart base finish (raised pontil and flat outer ring).

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 8.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
