Murano Silver Leaf, Aventurine, Green & Black Glass Bowl

Description

Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with silver leaf, copper aventurine and green patches. Surrounded with an outer casing of black glass (actually a very dark green, as can be seen when held up to the light).

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 6.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few surface scratches to the underneath side, shown in final picture.
