Loetz / Lötz Art Nouveau Golden Glass Candia Papillon Vase

Description

Here we have a beautiful Austrian golden glass vase from the late 19th century art nouveau period. Has a stunning oily, iridescent finish. Made by Loetz, part of their "Candia Papillon" pattern range.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 4.75 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, just a couple of minute nicks to the inside rim, shown in final picture.
