Description

A Monart blue & black mottled glass bowl with speckles of copper aventurine. Made by the Scottish Moncrieff's factory in the 1920's, pattern number XI+.ZA.185. Breaking the pattern number down, XI+ is the size (4.5 inch diameter), ZA is the shape number, and 185 is the colour code. Has the less common base finish of perfectly flat, ground and polished, with no pontil mark.

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
