Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Red & Amber Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass teardrop stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and attributed to Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of ruby red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 9.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a small nick and few minute fleabites to the base rim, shown in final picture. Also has a few surface scratches.
