Cristalleria Artistica Toscana / Alrose Empoli Red & White Glass Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful massive and very heavy (2.3 kilos unpacked) 1960's red & white striped glass vase, from the Italian region of Empoli. Made by Cristalleria Artistica Toscana (C.A.T.). Similar pieces are attributed to Alrose (an American importer) in the book "Italian Glass" by Leslie Pina, on page 117.

Size

Measures approx 19.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few surface scratches.
