Murano/Sommerso 1950's Red & Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of red glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a few tiny fleabites to the rim, shown in final picture, and some minor internal staining from use.
