Walther & Söhne Art Deco Blue Glass 'Athene' Bowl & Plate

Description

A wonderful art deco blue glass dessert bowl and plate.  Made by German company Auguste Walther & Söhne in the 1930's, part of their 'Athene' pattern range, and is featured in their 1934 product catalogue.

Size

Bowl measures approx 2 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
Plate measures approx 1 inches tall by 5.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

The bowl has a nibble to the base, and the plate has a nibble to the rim, all shown in final pictures.
