Murano Vintage Copper Aventurine & Filigrana Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950's/60's Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of blue, brown, dark purple and white filigree strands and copper aventurine.

Size

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of surface scratches to one side, shown in final picture. In the same area there are a couple of small, smudge like pale patches inside the glass layers, from the manufacturing process, see final picture.
