AVEM Murano Zanfirico & Copper Aventurine Glass Dish/Bowl

Description

A stunning Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree, and green twisted ribbons trimmed in copper aventurine. Made by the AVEM glassworks, pattern number 11891, this design is shown in the book "AVEM, Arte Vetraria Muranese, Artistic Production 1932 - 1972" by Marc Heiremans, page 207.

Size

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
