PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIMES

All orders are despatched within 3 working days from receipt of cleared funds.

Working days are Mon-Fri excluding Bank Holidays. Payments received Saturday/Sunday will automatically be classed as being received on Monday.

Most of our packages are either too large to fit through a letterbox, or require a signature. If no one is home to accept the parcel on the day of delivery, you will be left a "While You Were Out" card, stating what you can do next. You will have the option to go and collect the parcel from your local Royal Mail Office, or you can request a re-delivery on a more convenient day. You will be required to collect your parcel within 7 days, from the Royal Mail Sorting Office. Failure to collect or accept your parcel will result in your order being returned to us, and a refund (minus postage costs) issued to you. Alternatively, you will have the option to have your parcel re-delivered to you (you will be liable to pay the postage cost again).


OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

Goods remain the property of 20th Century Glass until the order has been paid for and funds have been confirmed as cleared.


RETURNS & REFUNDS

Should you wish to return your order for any reason at all, we will offer a full refund (less postage fees, and PayPal fees if applicable*) upon safe return of goods. On instances where free postage was offered, the actual postage cost will be deducted before making the refund. Customers are responsible for paying their own return postage fees, if returning products. We strongly recommend you return your items via a tracked secure postal method, such as Special Delivery.

* From 5th March 2020, PayPal will no longer return any fees paid to them when refunds are made. Therefore, from this date, any customers returning orders for a refund, who paid via PayPal, will have the PayPal fee element deducted from their refund, unless the reason for the return is an error in our description (e.g. damage not mentioned). This will also apply to any orders cancelled and refunds made due to incorrect address information provided by the buyer.


METHODS OF PAYMENT

Our shopping cart is set up to accept debit/credit card payments via Square, debit/credit card payments via PayPal (no PayPal account required) or payment via an existing PayPal balance (account needed).

If paying via PayPal, we can only post your order to the shipping address shown on the PayPal payment (you can edit this before confirming payment).


POSTAGE RATES

Postage is FREE for UK customers. For overseas customers, we use tiered postage rates, to ensure we keep our costs as low as possible for you. We have found this a lot more effective than offering a flat rate fee. All of our postage charges include a small packaging and handling fee.

All postage costs are shown within your shopping cart.


PACKING + HANDLING

The postage price you pay on your order includes a small packaging and handling fee. This element is used to ensure the correct packaging and box is used on your order, to keep it safe and secure whilst in transit.

We used recycled packaging products as much as possible, so we are able to keep these “handling” costs to a bare minimum.
