Barbini Murano Pink & Gold Leaf Glass Biomorphic Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. I strongly believe this bowl was made by Barbini, the shape, colours and style of gold leaf is very similar to their well known "circus tent" bowls. In a stunning combination of pink & clear cased glass, with gold leaf inclusions encased in the glass!

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to the rim, shown in final picture.
