Murano Red & Gold Leaf Bubble Glass Sculpture Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of cranberry red & clear cased glass, with loads of gold leaf inclusions, and a controlled bubble effect known as 'a bolle'.

Size

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to the underside, shown in final picture.
