MARKED Isle of Wight Studio / Harris 'Azurene Black' Glass Vase

Description

A beautiful black glass cylindrical vase with gold and silver leaf inclusions, designed by Michael Harris in collaboration with William Walker in 1978, for his renowned British glassworks Isle of Wight Studio, part of the Azurene pattern range. The base colour is actually a dark midnight blue, which appears black unless held up to the light. Still bears the factory label (worn) and has the factory mark to the base.

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
