Archimede Seguso Murano Bullicante Glass Bowl - Labelled

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass shell bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. The colour is more or less brown, with hint of purple/mauve depending on the lighting. Has an encased controlled bubble effect in the glass, known as bullicante. This bowl was made by Archimede Seguso, and still bears the very worn remains of the scalloped Archimede Seguso label on the base.

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
