Aureliano Toso / Dino Martens Mezza Filigrana Glass Bowl #5266

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950's Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Aureliano Toso and designed by Dino Martens in 1954, model number 5266.  The design is known as Mezza Filigrana. Decorated with stripes of green and white Filigree strands and copper aventurine.  This vase is shown in the book Dino Martens, Muranese Glass Designer by Marc Heiremans, page 166, where it is identified as model number 5266.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 8.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
