Carlo Moretti Satinato Red Murano Glass Vase - Labelled

Description

This is a magnificent Venetian frosted red glass vase with internal white casing, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and is known as a "satinato" vase. Similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 46. Still bears the original factory label.

Size

Measures approx 5.25 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
