Fratelli Toso Murano Aventurine Art Glass Dish/Bowl

Description

Here is a beautiful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Fratelli Toso, similar items from this range can be seen in the book "Italian Glass: Century 20" by Leslie Pina, pages 168 - 171. In a stunning combination of green, yellow, bworn and white cased glass, with patches of golden coloured copper aventurine swirls!

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 10.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a flake chip to the base, not visible at all when on display, and shown in final picture.
