Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Purple & Green Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful tall 1950/60's Venetian glass teardrop stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and attributed to Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of purple glass encased in green glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 9.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny blemish or bruise mark near the base on one side, and a few tiny fleabites to the inside rim (normal for these items) all shown in final pictures.
