Vasart Signed Scottish Grey Mottled Glass Bowl B003

Description

A British grey mottled glass basket shaped bowl. Made by Vasart glass manufacturers of Scotland, circa 1946 - 1956, signed to base. Pattern number B003. For the shape reference and more info, see Frank Andrews' excellent site www.ysartglass.com.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

There is a mark to the top, which looks a bit like a chip, but due to the position (where the two pulled sections meet) I'm not sure how it could have happened without damaging the other section above it. For this reason I think it must be a manufacturing flaw of some sort. Shown in final picture.
