Harrachov Czech Lattice Biomorphic Glass 'Harrtil' Bowl

Description

A wonderful Czech biomorphic glass bowl with white 'Harrtil' lattice pattern and green swirls. Made by the Harrachov glassworks, similar pieces are shown in the book "Hi Sklo Lo Sklo" by Mark Hill, page 57. According to the book, the Harrtil pattern was designed by Milos Pulpitel in 1955, and the shapes were designed by Milan Metelak, Milena Veliskova or Marie Stahlikova in the late 1950's.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 5.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a manufacturing flaw in the glass, where one of the white lattice threads seems out of place, shown in final picture.
