Walther & Söhne Art Deco Glass 'Nymphen' Mermaid Trinket Bowl

Description

A wonderful art deco frosted clear glass lidded trinket bowl / dish with mermaid and fish pattern.  Made by German company Auguste Walther & Söhne in the 1930's, part of their 'Nymphen' pattern range, and is featured in their 1934 product catalogue. This is the larger of the two sizes that were made in this design.

Measures approx 5.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has nibbles to the shell part on top of the lid, the lid corners, and base rim of the bowl, all shown in final pictures.
