Murano Italian Vintage Gold Leaf Glass Bird Sculpture

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass bird sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of clear glass filled with gold leaf inclusions. Manufacturer unknown.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has signs of restoration in the form of dull frosted patches to the tip of the beak and side of the head. Also a bruise mark and tiny nick to the base rim, all shown in final pictures.
