Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass swan sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of red glass encased in amber glass, which is further encased in pale blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original but very worn and unreadable Murano label.

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 2.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a nibble to the underneath edge of the beak, shown in final pictures.
