LABELLED Romanian Retro Blue, Red & White Glass Basket Bowl

Description

A 1970's speckled glass basket shaped bowl, made in white glass encased in clear glass, with blue and dark red spots, and blue rim and trailing. Manufacturer unknown, but made in Romania. Still bears the import label on the base, which reads "Made in Rumania". "Rumania" (and also "Roumania") was the English spelling for Romania up until around 1975. Almost always misdescribed as Murano when found on various online marketplace websites.

Size

Measures approx 7 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to one of the pulled out side sections, shown in final picture.
